Jeff Gothelf on what looks like an interesting weekend trying to solve one of the most pressing conundrums of digital product development.
Tony Hirst gives us some pointers on how to improve our linked data. I'll be talking about this at news:rewired on Thursday
"Products like these could create yet another layer of news- curating and sharing intermediaries between news sites and consumers. So they should take a close look at how such products will impact news cosumption in the days to come."
Never mind the photo issue, this is the bit that caught my eye: "of the suit’s 33 clauses 11 are dedicated to establishing that the Mail is not in effect a British entity, but international, and with clearly identifiable business interests in the US. Essentially the Mavrix argument is not that the case should be heard in the US because they, the plaintiff, are a US company, but because the supposedly foreign defendant has identifiable US connections."
