The absolute URL of the BBC homepage includes the string /today/ in it. The absolute URL of Radio 4's Today homepage includes the string /today/ in it. For a brief period this morning our ancient legacy server-side rewrite rules got a bit confused, and so you got the latter instead of the former at bbc.co.uk.
