As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, yesterday's Ada Lovelace Day post about 5 women who have inspired and influenced my career was a brief blogging interlude in an otherwise long overdue break from running the blog. I'll be back to posting regularly some time next month.
In the meantime here are some events I'm attending or taking part in over the next few weeks:
- March 30th: I'll be chairing "London IA 2010 on Innovation" which features speakers Richard Rutter, Glenn Jones, Claire Rowland and ANdy Budd.
- April 11th: I'm appearing at the Edinburgh International Science Festival, where I'll be on a panel with Sarah Hartley and Iain Hepburn discussing "Journalism in the digital age: Trends, tools and technologies". Tickets are available now.
- April 13th: I'll be attending "Content Strategy, Manhattan Style at The Book Club in Shoreditch.
- April 17th: As yet unconfirmed, but I hope to be at the "Talk About Local Un-Conference 2010" in Leeds, which is being sponsored by Guardian Local.
Thanks to those of you who sponsored my wife and 6 month old daughter who were walking 3 miles for Sport Relief. Here is Emma with her medal. There is still time to donate to the cause if you'd like to.
