I spotted the other day that my OPML file of British newspaper news and blog RSS feeds had made its way onto Grazr - 348 British Newspaper and Blog feeds - a service which I hadn't come across before.

Grazr is a web application which, as its web 2.0-ish name suggests, allows you to 'graze' through collections of feeds rather than subscribe to them forever.

RSS feeds are great, but the subscription model used by aggregators is slow and clumsy. After a while, it gets to be too much trouble to subscribe to more feeds. That's why grazing feeds is becoming so popular. Grazr lets you view as many feeds as you want without the hassle of subscribing. Grazr users can freely jump from feed to feed. It's like surfing on a river of feeds.

A Grazr javascript widget can also be embedded into any web page - as you can see here, where you can browse through the 348 feeds of my OPML file, and get to see their content without the hassle of having to open an account with an online RSS reader or download any software.

It is good to know that at least person found the newspapers OPML file useful, anyway.

Alan Turing wouldn't be impressed with this crude test,
but please prove you are a person and type toothpaste into this box:
