The analysis covers the number of words people used to search, and the level of incorrect spellings within search terms. It also looks at how much the focus of the search terms was on the UK. Another area examined is the use of advanced search techniques, like adding modifiers to search queries, and the number of search that are made specifically for URLs. This article has been widely linked to on the web, and has been used as part of academic studies into internet usage.
