Yesterday the BBC homepage had a great promo to highlight the 30th anniversary of Fawlty Towers. I really liked the way the focus of the image changed to switch around the lead characters, and the links changed accordingly, offering relationship advice, support for people being bullied at work, tips on how to look after a pet rat and, most importantly, instructions on how to make a Waldorf salad.

It was just a shame the background of the image used the properly spelt sign-post for the hotel - I'd have loved to see one of these variations on the homepage :-)

It is hard to argue that ethics and quality set the 'professional journalist' apart from the amateur blogger, if the 'professional' keeps publishing articles so wrong that they have to be deleted.
