Next Wednesday, 3rd August, I am going to be DJing at The Pool on Curtain Road in Shoreditch - which will be the first time I have vexed the decks for around two years.

The nearest stations are Old Street and Liverpool Street, and the venue is close to the 26, 35, 42, 47, 48, 78 and 242 bus routes.

I'm expecting to play two sets during the night, entrance is free, and it should start at around 6pm and finish around 1am. The bar has Thai food for sale, and full-sized pool tables. I'll be playing my usual mix of melancholic ambient, electronic and indie music, so your dancing shoes will probably not be required. Unless you were intending to simply sway slowly. You can get a taste of the kind of music I might be playing by downloading my "The Ink Diminishes" mix CD from this site.

The event is the launch of a display of artwork called 'Parts Of The Adult-Kid-Me-In-You' by Jhinuk Sarkar, which will be hanging in the bar for the next month .
