What will the C-Charge extension mean to Londoners?

LBC are running an advert to coincide with Nick Ferrari's Congestion Charge Campaign, asking what the proposed expansion of the Congestion Charge will mean to Londoners. They've redrawn the map of the zone into the shape of a pound symbol.

Well I'm a sucker for their slogan "gets London talking", so I thought I'd reiterate what the Congestion Charge means for me.

1: If I emerge from Holborn tube and I am running late for a meeting at Bush House I can jump on a bus to carry me the one stop down Kingsway knowing that it will shorten the time it takes me to make the journey, rather than making the journey longer than it would take on foot.

and

2: If there are problems on either of my regular routes home, the Piccadilly or Victoria lines, I can time my exit from the office to catch a bus to Liverpool Street to catch the next One overground train to Walthamstow Central.

Neither of these were an option for me before the Congestion Charge was introduced.

I hope the expansion of the charge will mean that lots of people who rely on using public transport through West London's currently clogged up arteries will, like me, discover new and easier ways to get around the city.
