Summary

I'm an information architect, user experience expert and senior digital producer with 8 years experience working for global brands like Sony, Vodafone, The Guardian and the BBC. My areas of expertise include e-commerce, web and site search, search engine optimisation and marketing, online voting, and bulk email delivery. I have also worked on product localisation, and designed the information architecture for music download stores, on both web and mobile phone platforms.

I'm an excellent communicator, regularly appearing at conferences and running seminars across Europe. I have written several articles for publication, and had my blog, currybet.net, listed in Blogstorm’s Top 100 UK Blogs. I have an expert understanding of the technical infrastructure of the web and mobile device platforms, and I am experienced in recruiting and leading multi-disciplinary teams delivering online services and web-based software applications.

Objective

I am looking for short-to-mid-term contract or project work (from 1 day to 3 months). I am currently based in London but I’m willing to travel anywhere for all, or some, of the duration of a piece of work. The skills I offer include:

  • Production of User Experience documentation (wireframes, user flows, information architecture, classification schemes)
  • User Experience documentation critique and reviews
  • Comparative application testing and competitor analysis reports
  • Expert site usability and accessibility reviews
  • Product development for online services and software applications
  • Facilitation of product design workshops
  • Business requirements capture
  • Search engine optimisation
  • Running training seminars on SEO and marketing, web best practice and Web 2.0 technologies
